Unfortunately there is no clear pathway here. At this point it will probably be dealt with on a case by case basis by your deanery. We'd be interested to hear your experiences.

Yes, even though with ACL posts the research time should be taken into account, it will usually lengthen time to CCT.

The short answer is yes, but we know some trainees have been told no in certain deaneries. It certainly does come with its challenges. Share your experiences.
